He graduated from Timpson High School with the Class of 1972. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack J. Ballard and Agnes E. Ballard. Survivors include, Wife, Juanita Foshee Ballard; Former wife and mother of his two children, Drewan Smith Nugent; Daughter, Melissa Ballard; Son, Craig Ballard; Sisters, Sarah Hanson and husband Kenneth Hanson, Jeannie Ford and husband Ozay Ford.

Stephen “Steve” Tomaszewski, 54, died February 18, 2026. He was born in Houston, Texas, March 6, 1971. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Anthony Tomaszewski and Karen Sue Tomaszewski. Survivors include, Wife, Nichole Chambers; Children, Joseph Ryan Tomaszewski, Emmalee Tomaszewski, David Chance Tomaszewski; Bonus children—with a steady presence, Alyssa Lewis, Nicholas Terry, Ryan Terry, Tabyus Lewis; Many siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him deeply.
