KATHY McSWAIN JONES
Kathy McSwain Jones, 70, of Center, Texas, died March 12, 2025, at her home in Center.  Interment was in Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on July 11,1954 to E. C. and Gwinnon McSwain, in Houston, Texas.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Kerry McSwain.  Survivors include, Husband, Teral Jones; Children and Stepchildren, Jason and wife Shelley Locke, Kyle and wife Kellie Locke, Kathryn and husband Dewayne Hudman, Brad and wife Natalie Jones, Tara Jones; Sister, Kay and husband Mike Surface; Brother, Keith and wife Shyrel McSwain; Sister-In-Law, Elaine McSwain.

IVA  LaNETTE MOORE SCOTT
Iva LaNette Moore Scott, 55, of Center, Texas, died March 2, 2025 at Ŵoodland Height Medical Center in Lufkin, Texas.  Interment was in Westview Cemetery, Center.  She was born on December 13, 1969 in Center, Texas to the late Ira J. Moore-Williams and the late Willie B. Martin. She later moved to Dallas, Texas where she was a graduate of Bryan Adam's High School. She went on to have two children, Leneiman Kennedy and Chakelia Moore. At the age of 24 she moved back to Center to start her legacy in something that she loved to do. Not only was fashion a big part of Nette, she also gained her title as one of the greatest of all time hairstylist that has come through Center. She loved to have fun and 'turn up' but later found her place in the House of the Lord on Sundays. She committed to being a member at Bennett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she loved her pastor, Bishop W.C. Martin.
Services are entrusted to Community Funeral Home in Center.

JOYCE ELLENE KEATING SCOTT
Joyce Ellene Keating Scott, 91, died March 11, 2025, in Bullard, Texas.  She was born in the community of County Line in Panola Country to Cullen and Ruth Keating.   She was preceded in death by, Husband, Alvin Scott; Parents; Sister, Nadine Chadwick; Brother, Pete Keating; Daughter and Son, Judy Veronica Cross & Wendell Jewel Scott. Survivors include, Daughter-in-law, Mrs. Thelma Scott.

CAROLN KAY OLIVER ELLIOTT
Carolyn Kay (Oliver) Elliott, 79, of Port Bolivar, Texas, died March 12, 2025.  Interment was in Caledonia Cemetery, Nacogdoches County.  She was born in Shelby County to Riley Bryant Oliver and Bessie Kay Oliver on July 11, 1945. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brothers, William Gus Oliver, Riley Bryant “RB” Oliver, Bruce Charles Oliver, Gordan Huburn Oliver, James Oliver, Cecil Omar Oliver; Sons, Kevin Patrick Elliott, Lance William Elliott.  Survivors include, Daughter, Rhonda Pavlu; Sister, Bessie Dell Reeves; Brother, Byron Oliver.
Services under the direction of Garrison Funeral Home, Garrison, Texas.

BARBARA COLLEEN REAL JOHNSON
Barbara Colleen Real Johnson, 78, of Timpson, died March 18, 2025, in Timpson.  Her wishes were to be cremated.  She was born July 14, 1946, in Beaumont, to James Gail Real and Euriel Francis Daws Real.  She was preceded in death by, Husband, Troy Malcolm Johnson; Parents; Brother, Wayne Earl Real.  Survivors include, Children, Dennis Wayne Johnson of Timpson, Samuel Embyr Johnson of Timpson, Theresa Barber of Omaha, Arkansas; Sister, Eileen Real.

DANNY JACK RILEY
Danny Jack Riley, 77, of Tatum, died March 15, 2025, in Longview.  Interment was in Joaquin Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born May 5, 1947, in Timpson, to Jack Riley and Juanita Dawson Riley.  He served in the United States Military during the Vietnam War.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Rev. Felix and Anner Dee Windham; Brothers-in-law, Frankie DeSoto, Larry Terry. Survivors include, Wife, Patsy Riley of Tatum; Daughter, Kim Rivers and husband Roger, of Bullard; Son, Keith Riley and wife, Koni of Mineola; Brother and sister-in-law, James and Cindy Riley of Dayton; Sister, Linda Terry of Tenaha; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law, Hazel and David Miller of Joaquin, Sue and Leslie Gill of Tenaha,
