Wanda Lee (Lanier) Cannon, 82, died March 19, 2026. Interment was in Cannon Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born to Willis and Mary Lanier (and Frank Bonura) on August 17, 1943, in Beaumont, Texas. She was preceded in death by, Parents, Willis and Mary Lanier and biological father Frank Bonura; Brother, Charles Edward “Sonnie” Lanier; Sister, Betty Jo Moore; Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, plus her half-siblings on the Bonura side of her family. Survivors include, Husband, Bob; Devoted daughter, Robbie (Pete) Low of Center.

Mary Ann Brown, 61, of Joaquin, Texas, died March 22, 2026. Interment was in Jackson Cemetery, Shelby County. She was born August 8, 1964, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Wayne Terrell Evans and Helen Jane (Curry) Evans. She was preceded in death by, Husband, Butch Brown; Daughter, Nikki Diaz; Parents. FRANK HENRY HORTON
Frank Henry Horton, 75, of Tenaha, Texas, died March 19, 2026. He was born June 01, 1950. He was preceded in death by, Parents, Sid and Gladys Horton. Survivors include, Wife, Cheryl Harris Horton; Daughters, Amber and Scott Miller and their children, Hank and Eliza of Sebastian, Florida, April and Mike Crow and their children, Hodges, Skylar and Abby of Celina, Texas; Brothers and their families, Lance and Barbara, George and Bennette; Sister-in-law, Terri Harris.
Frank worked at Texas Health for 31 years. He donated his body for research to UT Southwestern so his service will be at a later time at his church (planned April 4, at 4:00) at Shady Oaks Baptist church in Hurst, where he played Bass guitar in the praise band, and served in their music program for 25 years. Some of his fellow singers from the “Singing Christians” will sing at his service. We would love to get to hear his voice blend in with them one more time, but he had an appointment with a heavenly choir to meet. |
