GEORGE NOLAN ASHABRANNER

George Nolen Ashabranner, 95, of Timpson, Texas, died May 12, 2024.  Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson, Texas.  He was born January 26, 1929, in Fort Worth Texas to Marguerite and Melvin Ashabranner. He was a Sargent in the 45th Infantry Division in the Korean War. Was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Korean Service Medal, Bronze Service Star, Army Occupational medal (Japan), Union Service Medal, and the Overseas Service Bar. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Loraine Ashabranner.  Survivors include, Children, George Nolen Ashabranner, Jr. & wife Carolyn of Newton, Texas; Daughters, Patricia Warming & husband Todd of Newton, Texas, Mary Butler & husband Wayne of Timpson, Texas; Siblings, Felix Ashabranner & Margie Shaw.

 

MARION RILEY
Marion Riley, 97, of Center, died May 15, 2024, at Pine Grove Nursing.  Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas.  She was born April 11, 1927 in Shelby County to Willie B and Betha (Blankenship) Mitchell. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Harlen Riley; Sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Earnest Nation; Brothers, Curtis Mitchell, Joe Mitchell.  Survivors include, Daughters, Janet Adams & husband, Jerry of Center, Jeanie Suhor & husband, Al of Nacogdoches; Sister-in-law, Marie Mitchell of Orange.

MARSHA ANN KILLEY CLARK
Marsha Ann Killey Clark, 74, died May 10, 2024 at her home in Lake Kiowa, Texas. Her wish was to be cremated. No services are planned at this time.  She was born January 25, 1950 to Andy Leo Killey and Billie Burke Bishop in Eureka, California. She grew up in the Stockman Community of Shelby County and graduated from Timpson High School in 1968. She was preceded in death by, Parents; Sisters, Martha Jane and Barbara Gayle.  Survivors include, Husband, Mark Clark of Lake Kiowa; Son, Sean Layco of Lake Kiowa; Daughter, Cherry Mikeska & husband Rae of Sherman, Texas, Brother, Robert and Anita Killey of the Stockman Community.
Services under the direction of American Funeral Service, Denison, Texas.

JUANA ANTONIA BALDERAS
Juana Antonia Balderas, 82, of Center, died May 21, 2024, in Center.  Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas.  She was born February 15, 1942, in Comonfort, Guanajuato, Mexico, Juana to Francisco Balderas and Margarita Salinas. She was preceded in death by her parents.  Survivors include, Husband, Jose Ramirez Sanchez of Center; Children, Ignacio Ramirez & wife Yoana of Center, Teresa Santana & husband Nicolas of Center, Irma Moreno & husband Enrique of Fort Worth, Maria Ramirez of Guanajuato, Mexico; Siblings, Augustina Balderas, Alejandro Balderas, Martin Balderas, Adrian Balderas, Sarafine Balderas, Camerina Balderas, Apolonio Balderas, Christina Balderas.
