+ | GEORGE NOLAN ASHABRANNER George Nolen Ashabranner, 95, of Timpson, Texas, died May 12, 2024. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson, Texas. He was born January 26, 1929, in Fort Worth Texas to Marguerite and Melvin Ashabranner. He was a Sargent in the 45th Infantry Division in the Korean War. Was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Korean Service Medal, Bronze Service Star, Army Occupational medal (Japan), Union Service Medal, and the Overseas Service Bar. He was preceded in death by, Parents; Wife, Loraine Ashabranner. Survivors include, Children, George Nolen Ashabranner, Jr. & wife Carolyn of Newton, Texas; Daughters, Patricia Warming & husband Todd of Newton, Texas, Mary Butler & husband Wayne of Timpson, Texas; Siblings, Felix Ashabranner & Margie Shaw.
