The annual homecoming and dinner on the grounds for the Newburn Cemetery will be held on Saturday June 29,2002 from about 10:00 to 2:00. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the day of rememberance with us.

THOMAS E. TAYLOR---Thomas E. Taylor, 63, died June 12, 2002 in Albuquerque.  Burial was in Jackson Cemetery.  Born September 8, 1938, he was the son of Thomas O. and Doris Hughes Taylor.  Survivors include his mother  Doris Hughes Taylor of Albuquerque; son Commander Christopher J. Taylor of Newport, R.I.; daugher Yvette M. Taylor-Benson of Naples Florida; sister Susan Clay of Albuquerque.  Watson & Sons Funeral Home.
LEA BEA POPO BISHOP---Lea Biship, 76, of Timpson, died June 14, 2002 in Nacogdoches.  Burial was in Corinth Cemetery.  Born January 23, 1926, she was the daughter of Claude and Elizabeth Roden Pope.  Survivors include, husband, Leonard Eugene Bishop of Timpson; sons, Thomas Martin Bishop of Kennesaw, Georgia; daughter Glenda Carol Alferd of Montalba and Gloria Jean Catino of Conroe; sisters, Daphne Bearding, Elsie Green and Billie Jo Holt; brothers, Ed Bishop and Bill Setters.   Garrison Funeral Home.
SALLY ADENA WILLIAMS---Sally Williams, 83 died June 14m 2002 in Nacogdoches. Burial was in Mt. Herman Cemetery.  Born December 9, 1918, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Everett and Minnie Youngblood.  Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Norma Lee Matzenbacher; brothers, Woodrow, Joe, Elma Jessie and A.D. Youngblood; and sister Duetta Rudd.  Survivors include her husband Norman Williams of Shelbyville; daughters, Carolyn McCauley of Nacogdoches, Dana Judson of Lawrence, Kansas, Kerri Shofner of San Augustine; sons, Gary Williams of Lufkin and Larry Williams of Richmond, Texas.  Mangum Funeral Home.
