Darrion G. Landon, 42, of Center, died June 16, 2024 at the Center Emergency Room. He was born to the late David Landon and Syble Dixon on September 22, 1981.  He graduated in 2001 from Tenaha High School.  Survivors include, Wife, Tameka Landon; Children, Anthony Jackson, Jr., Terence Johnson, Jaenlyn Johnson; Siblings, Sister, Linda Landon of Houston, Brother, David Landon of Tenaha, Brother, Dirondwer Landon (Tracie) of Tenaha.
Services entrusted to Community Funeral Home, Center, Texas.

 

SUSIE MARTIN WRIGHT
Susie Martin Wright, 78, of Center, died June 20, 2024. Interment was in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center.  She was born January 19, 1946, in Center to Woodrow “Dutch” and Edith Christian Martin.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Charles W. (Scooter) Martin; Sister-in-law, Nancy Martin.  Survivors include, Son, David Neal Wright & wife, Sabrina of Center; Sister, Cherry Murphree & husband, Don of Center; Brother, Johnny Mike Martin & wife, Beverly of Lufkin.

MICHAEL ANTHONY WALLER
Michael Anthony Waller, 26, of Center, Texas, died June 2, 2024. He was born in Marshall, Texas, January 14, 1998 to Melissa Jeannette Waller and Jerry Wayne Smith, Jr.  He attended Nacogdoches and Timpson TX High Schools.  He was preceded in death by, Paternal grandparents, Jerry Wayne Smith, Sr. and Linda Nell Tube Smith;  Maternal grandfather, Charles Steven Waller.  Survivors include, Grandmother, Carol Winfrey, Grandfather, Mike Couder; Mother, Melissa Jeannette Waller; Father, Jerry Wayne Smith, Jr.; Sisters, Christina Smith, Makayla Waller, Meagan Smith, Madison Smith Greear & husband Rocky Greear of Nashoba, Ok.

Loretta Yvonne Shunkwiler Armstrong, 85, of Anacoco, Louisiana, died June 4, 2024, in Anacoco.  She was born March 10, 1939, in Joaquin, Texas, to Milo Cleburne Armstrong and Violet Laverne McGee Armstrong.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Daughter, Dawn Capucine Mathewson; Son-in-law, Leland Milam Harris;  Brother, Carl Lee Armstrong.  Survivors include, Children, Jesse Mathewson, Cheri Harris, Athea Shunkwiler Williams, Tara W. John Madison Hughes, 78, died June 21, 2024. HOWELL MAURICE ADKISON
Howell Maurice Adkison, 74, of Center, died June 19, 2024, in San Augustine.  Interment was in Mt. Herman Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born April 20, 1950, in Jasper, Texas, to Hollis Howell Adkison and Myrtle Maurice Adkison. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Vietnam during part of that time.  He was preceded in death by, Brothers, Stephen Hollis Adkison, Terry Lynn Adkison & wife Jeannie; Father-in-law, Billy Wayne Hooper.  Survivors include, Wife, Pamila Hooper Adkison of Center; Sons, Brandon Heath Adkison of Nacogdoches, Clinton Howell Adkison & wife, Anittra of Garrison; Sister, Shirley DiVerdi & husband, Vince; Mother-in-law, Ann Hooper; Sister-in-law, Ginia Hooper.
