Louis Ray Wright, 65, of Tenaha, Texas, died July 3, 2026, in Tenaha, Texas.  He was born September 8, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, to Louis A. Wright and Edith Bell (Byrd) Wright.  Graveside service were held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at his residence, 591 County Road 4489, Tenaha, Texas, with Bro. Aaron Bequette officiating.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Infant Brother, “Little Luke”; Father-in-law, Jerry Steadman; Brothers-in-law, Brian Fox, Ricky Newell, Terry Steadman, and Donald Weisinger.  Survivors include, Wife, Patti Wright; Son, Michael Ray Wright and Gena Duke; Daughter, Shannon Rene Wright; Sisters, Shurl Fox, Nancy Newell, Brenda Vann and husband Donnie; Mother-in-law, Wynice Whitaker; Sisters-in-law, Barbara Steadman, Gwen Weisinger, Cindy Guillory and husband Johnny.

Alene Grayson Whiddon, died June 30, 2026 at Nacogdoches Medical Center.  She was born in Joaquin, Texas, on December 10, 1944 to W.H. (“Bidden”) Grayson and Ellen Wicker Grayson.  She was a graduate of Joaquin High School.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, Paul “Buddy” Grayson and his wife Anna Mae; Sisters, Betsy Chambliss and husband Benny, Susan Kawaja and husband Dean; Sisters-in-law Doris Clemmons and husband James, Lou Vasilou, and Jackie Stevens and husband, Edward.  Survivors include, Husband, James Henry Whiddon; Daughter, Darla Whiddon Christensen and husband Everett, their daughter Lauren Vargas and husband Twyman; Sons, Dayne Whiddon and wife Michele, Darik Whiddon and wife Carolyn, their son Grayson Whiddon; In-laws, Bobby and Rosalie Whiddon.
