DUDLEY COX
Dudley Cox, 86, of Shelbyville, died August 21, 2025.  Interment was in East Hamilton Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born to Jasper and Lizzie (Parker) Cox in 1939 on July 31st (or 30th if you took his mother’s word over that of the doctor).  He was preceded in death by, Wife, Viva Cox; Parents; Son, Bruce Rodriguez; Daughter, Carole Buell; Son-in-law, Mark Cox; Brothers, Dewey Cox, Sr., Billy Joe Cox, James Cox.  Survivors include, Daughters, Melinda Mannino and husband Bob of Lumberton, Brenda Reinhardt and husband Randy of Mauriceville, Patty Cox of Kilgore; Brother, Tommy Cox of Shelbyville; Brother-in-law, Virgil Franklin of Huxley.

EMILY CAMILLE YORK
Emily Camille York, 54, of Joaquin, Texas, died August 23, 2025. Interment was in Carroll Cemetery.  She was born on September 13, 1970, in Searcy, Arkansas, to Richard and Geraldine York.  She was preceded in death by, Grandparents, Geneva and Alvy Strayhorn, Elsa and William Dean York; Brother-in-law, Johnny Ray McCoy.  Survivors include, Children, Lindsey York-Randel and her husband, Jacob Randel, Taylor Lilley; Her partner, Todd Wilburn; Parents; Sisters, Renee McCoy , Michelle York and her husband, Izaak McGinnis; Her partner’s children, Paige Wilburn, Tanner Wilburn.

ENID  ELAINE NATION
Enid Elaine Nation, 78, of Springfield, Missouri, died August 25, 2025. She was born on August 13, 1947, in Center, Texas, to Earnest Nation and Doris Mitchell Nation. She was preceded in death by her parents.  Survivors include, Brother, Edsel Nation of Shreveport; Sisters, Rebbie Burnitt (George) of Charolette, Reta Keeny (David) of Shreveport.   
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.
