Born August 11, 1948, in Shreveport, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Sherrill and Elizabeth Moses Bailey. Survivors include her husband, Bill Hairgrove of Timpson; mother, Elizabeth Bailey Hairgrove of Timpson; sons, Tom Hairgrove of Carthage and Burt Hairgrove of Timpson; brother, Tad Bailey of Chandler; sister, Patricia Hooper of Gary. FRED ALAN SPANN---Fred Alan Spann, 63, of Center died September 6, 2002 in San Augustine. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born October 8, 1938, in Shelby County, he was the son of Jack and Julia Belle Mask Spann. Mr. Spann was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Julia Belle Spann and sisters, Laverne Spann Payne and Laverne Sipple. He is survived by his wife Connie Spann of Center; daughters, Becky Harkness, Vicki Johnson and Frances Spann, all of Center; brother, Charles Spann of Center and sisters, Betty Newton and Beth Bennett, both of Center.
