Classes of 1947, 1948, 1949 & 1950 will meet at the Historical Shelby County Courthouse at 7:00 P.M. October 12. This is 55 years for 1947.

Class of 1953 will meet 7:00 PM, October 12 at Pineywoods Seafood Resturant

Class of 1956 will meet 11:00 AM Friday, October 11 at the Golden Corral.

Class of 1962 will meet at Lake Country Inn at 12:00 noon, October 12, our 40th.

Class of 1972 will meet at Howard's Farm, October 12, 5:30 PM for their 30th.

The Class of 1992 will meet at Lake Country Inn October 12, for their 10th.

Friends and relatives of the late Larkin and Tempie Bates are invited to attended the annual Bates Family Reunion to be held in the hospitality room of the Texas State Bank, Haslam Annex on Saturday, September 28th, 2002. The Windham family reunion will be October 12, 2002 at the Texas State Bank hospitality room in Haslam, Texas. Doors will open at 10:30. Bring the kids and a covered dish. Am searching for Mecie Frances Lucas Warr. She was married to Vaughn/Von Warr. She died on 10 Aug 1952 in Shelby Co. Tx. and is buried there with her husband. I also have her date of birth and know that Mangum Funeral handled her arrangments. I would like to know who their children were, her parents and how can I contact any of her siblings. Thank you. GAIL BAILEY HAIRGROVE---Gail Hairgrove, 54, of Timpson, died September 5, 2002 in Timpson. Burial was in Buena Vista Cemetery, Shelby County. Born August 11, 1948, in Shreveport, Louisiana, she was the daughter of Sherrill and Elizabeth Moses Bailey. Survivors include her husband, Bill Hairgrove of Timpson; mother, Elizabeth Bailey Hairgrove of Timpson; sons, Tom Hairgrove of Carthage and Burt Hairgrove of Timpson; brother, Tad Bailey of Chandler; sister, Patricia Hooper of Gary. MILDRED LAWSON PARTLOW---Mildred Partlow, 80, of Center died September 8, 2002 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery. Born October 10, 1925, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Hobson and Lela Jones Lawson. Survivors include Darrell Partlow; sons, Robert Partlow of Center and John Partlow of Gatesville; daughter Sandra Partlow of Terrell. Watson & Sons Funeral Home.

FRED ALAN SPANN---Fred Alan Spann, 63, of Center died September 6, 2002 in San Augustine. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Park. Born October 8, 1938, in Shelby County, he was the son of Jack and Julia Belle Mask Spann. Mr. Spann was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Julia Belle Spann and sisters, Laverne Spann Payne and Laverne Sipple. He is survived by his wife Connie Spann of Center; daughters, Becky Harkness, Vicki Johnson and Frances Spann, all of Center; brother, Charles Spann of Center and sisters, Betty Newton and Beth Bennett, both of Center. BOBBY RILEY---Bobby Riley, 78, of Canton died September 3, 2002 in Canton, Texas. Burial was in Ramah Cemetery. Born December 20, 1923, in Joaquin, he was the son of Bob and Ida Mull Riley. Mr. Riley is survived by nephew, Tommy Joe Ford of Katy. Mangum Funeral Home.

PAUL TAYLOR---Paul Taylor, 67, of Shelbyville, died September 4, 2002 in Tyler. Burial was in Patroon Cemetery. Born January 24, 1935, in Mingo County West Virginia, he was the son of Jake and Mary White Taylor. Mr. Taylor is survived by his children. Lisa Gay Rees of Kansas City, Missouri, Richard Taylor of New Braunsfels, Texas and Donna Kay Barletta of Fort Meade, Maryland.; sister, Nancy Martin of Tennessee. Mangum Funeral Home.
