Hettie Analea Rawson, 85, died September 06, 2024, in Carthage, Texas. She was born in Logan, Texas to Guy Wimberly McFadden and Ellen Leona Wimberly.  She was preceded in death by, Parents; Husband, Gwen Thomas “Skeet” Rawson; Brother, Jimmy Larry McFadden; Sisters, Vida Duke and Tony Lambert.  Survivors include, Children, Renee Phillips and her husband Kirk, Amanda Jackson and her husband John

MARSHA ANN HOOPER TOMLINSON
Marsha Ann (Hooper) Tomlinson, 79, of Timpson, died September 4, 2024. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Timpson.  She was born on October 4, 1944, in Houston, Texas to Marshal and Gladys Beckham Hooper.  She was preceded in death by, Mother and Father; Sisters,  Reba Anderson, Norma Jeanne Epps.  Survivors include, Daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and William “Bubba” Lee of Timpson.

DARRON LYNN HOLLOWAY
Darron Lynn Holloway, 60, of Timpson, died September 4, 2024, in Timpson.  Interment was in Smyrna Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born April 17, 1964.

Viva Mae Cox, 84, of Shelbyville, Texas, died September 6, 2024. Interment was in East Hamilton Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born on January 21, 1940, in Orange, Texas, to Clinton Franklin and Sarah (Guillory) Franklin.  She is preceded in death by, Father, Clinton Franklin; Mother, Sarah Franklin; Sister, Patricia Yaw; Sson, Bruce Rodriguez; Daughter, Carole Buell; Son-in-law, Mark Cox.  Survivors include,  Husband, Dudley Cox of Shelbyville; Brother, Virgil Franklin of Huxley; Daughters,
Patty Cox of Kilgore, Melinda Mannino, and husband Bob, of Lumberton, Brenda Reinhardt, and husband Randy, of Mauriceville.

Archie Lee Swindle, 81, died September 6, 2024.  He was born to Ranzie and Dorothy Swindle on September 21, 1942 in Shelbyville (Possum Trot), Texas. He graduated East Liberty High School.  He served his country in the Air Force.  He was preceded in death by, Parents, Ranzie and Dorothy Swindle; Son, Jonathan Swindle; Daughter, Lisa Marie Swindle Hill.  Survivors include, Wife, Clarice Greenwood Swindle; Sons, Levard Swindle (Heidi) of Shelbyville, Gerald Swindle of Nacogdoches; Siblings, Lena Mae Swindle Blanson (Charles) of Shelbyville, Linda Swindle Wallace of Amarillo, AC Swindle of Center, Helen Swindle of Shelbyville, Charles Swindle (Giselle) of Lufkin, Wanda Swindle of Shelbyville, Michael Swindle (Dorothy) of Shreveport La.

STEVE TINKLE
Steve Tinkle, 54, died September 7, 2024.  He was born on November 6, 1969, in Freeport, Texas, to Monte Dawson and Steve Tinkle, Sr. He was preceded in death by,  Brother, Shane Tinkle.  Survivors include,  Sisters, Wendi Summers, Lindsey Dawson; Parents, Steve Tinkle Sr. and Monte Dawson; Children, Isle and Stoker Tinkle.
Services are under the direction of Hillier Funeral Home and Watson and Sons Funeral Home.

DONALD DEAN COOPER
Donald Dean Cooper, 88, of Huxley, Texas, died on September 11,2024. He requested to be cremated with no service, a life celebration is planned for the future.  He was born on June 2, 1936, in Montgomery County, Kansas, to Charles E. and Edna L. (Harmon) Cooper.  He was preceded in death by, Brothers, Carlos and Robert; Sister, Betty Cooper McCampbell; Step-daughter, Nina L. Pixler Ferestad.  Survivors include, Wife, Virginia J Bettes Cooper; Children, William L, Cooper, Gate City, VA, Philip B. Pixler of Salina, KS, Tina D. and husband Sean Brandt of Lee's Summit, MO, Theresa Bowlin of Independence, MO; Sister-in-law, Darlene Cooper.

BONNIE SHERROD KAEMMERLING
Bonnie Sherrod Kaemmerling, died September 14, 2024. She was born in Center, Texas to Beurnis W. and Anna Andrews Sherrod on August 10, 1944. She was preceeded in death by, Parents; Brother (unnamed-died at birth 1939); Sister, Kathy Wilburn-Philmon (born 1940); Soulmate, David Carl Kaemmerling after 50 ½ years of marriage; Brothers-in-law, Kenneth Wilburn, Willard Philmon, Calvin Kaemmerling. Survivors include, Daughter, Angela Barker, husband, Jeff; Son, Colt Barker; Stepson, Shawn Kaemmerling, wife Glenna, and their families Hunter Kaemmerling, Kalyn Harris, Jettie Harris, Madie Flores, and Mylei Parks.  Bonnie graduated from Center High School in 1962.
Services are under the direction of Shafer Funeral Home, Lufkin directors.

GARY RHOLES
Gary Rholes, 68, of Crystal Beach, Texas and formerly of Center, Texas, died  September 14, 2024 at Crystal Beach.  He was a graduate of Center High School, class of 1974. He served as Shelby County Attorney for many years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Wilma Rholes.  Survivors include, Wife, Julie; Daughter, Kelly Rholes Bara and her husband Troy, and their daughters, Finley and Blake; Son, Ryan Rholes and his wife, Irina, and their daughter, Sofia; Stepson, Justin Peterson; Stepdaughter, Alyssa Peterson Ray, her husband Nathan, and their daughter, Stevie June; Brother, Steven Rholes and his wife, Ramona; Sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Harry Stephens; Mother-in-law, Marilyn Otto.
Gary’s wishes were to be cremated and to have no formal service. A memorial will be held later in the month.

ANGIE I. NAIL
Angie I. Nail, 48, of Timpson, Texas, died September 13, 2024. She was born on April 21, 1976, to Aaron and Cathy Windham.  She was preceded in death by, Maternal grandparents, Grace and Milton Pledger; Paternal grandparents, Artie B. and Thomas Daniel Windham.  Survivors include, Husband, James Nail; Children, Kristen Grace Lawrence and son-in-law, Kurtes Lawrence, Keith Ryan Mims and daughter-in-law, Amber Mims; Mother, Cathy Windham; Father, Arron Windham; Sisters, Carrie Osmer and brother-in-law, Shane Osmer, Bobbie Smith and brother-in-law, Scott Smith, Sister, Cheri Branton; Brother, Ronnie Fitzgerald.
Services are under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home.

 

DONNA HORTON FLETCHER
Donna Horton Fletcher, 62, of Timpson, died August 26, 2024, in Timpson.  Interment was in Mt. Gillion Cemetery, Shelby County.  She was born March 21, 1962, in Center, Texas.
