DONALD E. FRANKE
Donald E. Franke, 87, died March 23, 2025 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Interment was in Cypress Grove Cemetery, New Orleans, Louisiana.  He was born on May 6, 1937 in Shelbyville, Texas to Alfred E. Franke and Ruth Bounds Franke.  He attended Shelbyville High School.  He served three years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Boston.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Brother, James F. Franke; Parents-in-law, Earl H. Kent and Marie Kent; Siblings in-law, Elaine Franke, Michael Kent, Max Staudt, Charles Watson.  Survivors include, Wife, Barbara Kent Franke; Children, Elizabeth Bonnecaze (Remi), James Franke (Ann Marie), Kent Franke; Sister, Doretta Watson; Sisters in-law, Susanne Staudt, Patricia Kent.

JACKIE CHARLES BOYETT
Jackie Charles Boyett, 68, of Joaquin, died April 3, 2025, in Tyler.  Interment will be in Brookland Cemetery, Shelby County.  He was born July 13, 1956, in Center, to Johnnie Boyett and Bernice Evans Boyett.  He was preceded in death by, Son, Buddy Boyett; Parents; Sister, Donna Sue Bell; Brother, Wayne Boyett.  Survivors include, Daughters, Sherry Roberts and husband Blake of Bullard, Gabrielle Woodward and husband Lott of Gloster, Louisiana; Sister, Mary Stanley and husband Gary of Joaquin; Brother, Johnnie Joe Boyett of Gladewater.

BETTY V. MASSEY
Betty V. Massey, 76, of Tenaha, died April 6, 2025, in Center.  Her wishes were to be cremated.  She was born March 28, 1949, to Floyd Parker and Virginia Rich Parker. She was preceded in death by, Husband, James V. Massey, Jr.; Parents; Siblings, Curtis Parker, Margie Anderson, Judy Bailey, Edward Parker.  Survivors include, Daughter, Naomi Stiles and husband John, Jr. of Tenaha; Son, James V. Massey III and wife Kathy of Center; Sisters, Elaine Stanley, Sue Parker, Cathy Butler, Connie Harroff; Brother, Richard Parker.

KENNETH WAYNE REDMON

He was an Eagle Scout and a 1978 graduate of Joaquin High School.  He was preceded in death by, Parents; Fathers-in-law, Tom Kay and Stanley Burgay; Brothers, James Allen Cockrell and Joe Cockrell; Sister-in-law.
