This web site was created from the publication " The Men and Women in World War II From Shelby County" which was sponsored by the Norman G. Crocker American Legion Post No. 284, Center,Texas and Ferguson-Tims-Morrison American Legion Post No. 90, Timpson, Texas, Joaquin Post No. 368, Joaquin, Texas and American Legion Post, Tenaha, Texas.   The exact year of publication is not known.  This publication and web site is a record of and hopefully will furnish recognition to those who have served and fought in World War II as well as commemoration for those who have made the supreme sacrifice.
